Dirge for Ammad
House Ir Lazish
Perhaps it is due to their divine origins that House Ir Lazish has come to trade in religious artifacts. Composed almost exclusively of deva, Ir Lazish is originally from the Ir Dessi Protectorate. The precarious position of the Protectorate was far less favorable than the happily situated port town of Ammad, and some seventy-five years ago, Ir Lazish made their way here.
They trade heavily in religious objects of all kinds. Shops run by their family sell legal artifacts and relics, but it takes very little effort to find those vendors that dabble in objects of the illicit variety. This is merely one aspect of their involvement in the black market, though the others are appropriately lesser known. What is known, however, is that Ir Lazish holds a close connection with the Ir Dessi Protectorate’s Embassy in Ammad. It is not the policy of any of the other High Houses to become entangled in the affairs of Ir Lazish, because it might bring down the wrath of the Protectorate upon them.
