Geography

  • Located in the delta of the Zergis River.
    • City sits right where the river splits into two large channels that lead to the Sea of Taelnar.
    • These channels are kept open and relatively free of pirates to allow for shipping to come through.
    • South channel is too shallow along the shores to allow for large merchant ships to approach the city.
  • City sits on craggy hills, broken up by the river. These form hundreds of islands the city is build on.
  • To the south are the Xannash Marshes, large inhospitable and full of deadly creatures.
    • Silver Raptors have plenty of work dealing with monsters and pirates hiding in the Marshes.
  • Xannash Marshes near the city have been more or less cultivated or flat out drained.
  • Black Waters
    • Rich deposits of Dragon Blood.
    • Desolate swamp full of dead or dying vegetation.
  • Fungal Grove
    • Area deep within the Marshes with tree sized mushrooms.
    • Other vegetation is almost nonexistent.
    • Controlled by many tribes of myconids.
  • Island of Black Mists
    • Small island south west of the city.
    • Covered in a fungal swamp.
    • Constant spore filled mists surround the island.
    • Fortress of Doors overlooks a small bay on the eastern side of the island.
  • Mire Woods
    • Thick woods covering northern part of the Marshes.
    • Heavy lumber industry towards the edges.
    • Even the bravest of lumberjacks do not dare to venture too deep.
    • Dangerous beasts live within the woods.
